Yes. It may look that way in this photo...

But I did state above the photo "Getting the leather centre console back into position."
So the console wasnt properly seated at that point.

The rest of the photos show it is a perfect fit. If it wasnt, id have changed it already

Another question about the vents? Did you block them off completely so that when you turn the heater on, you're not shooting hot air at the screen? I doubt it'd get hot enough to cause any problems, but I'm just curious.

Also, where did you manage to get a 1.21 jigawatt version of the M2?

The central vents are opened and closed right at the back. Behind the area I took the pipes from. There is a little lever which is operated by vacuum. Ive simply removed the lever so the vents remain closed.

M2? lol Thats a thought, better unplug the flux capacitor then!
That would be one hell of a burn out !

Its not the kind of car you just want to hack up anyway, but im glad I eventually had the balls to!

Re: Keyboard - Its a standard PS2 keyboard for the moment, but ive just found this one, whick ill be buying next week. Bit pricey for a mini keyboard though (£30-$60).

Hi,

if you're planning to buy a mini keyboard in that price category, why don't you go for the Perixx periboard 703 or 704, it's a rf wireless mini multimedia keyboard with integrated trackbal, where the 703 has a mechanical trackball and the 704 has an optical one. especially nice when you're busy doing things and not want to bent over to touch the screen all the time, and it only costs 30 GBP for the 703 and 35 GBP for the 704

here's some info:

producers website perixx

the shop where I bought it: the cheapest I could find on the net. digitalpromo

you might like it.

Looks nice frank. I actually like the PERIBOARD-705. However, looks like they're only sold outside the US... I wonder if they can be ordered state side.

I've got the iOne Scorpius P20 which works great. It uses a thumbstick for the mouse instead of a trackball.

How could you hack that car up? I never would have been able to bring myself to do it lol.

Aside from that, it looks great. It looks like the way the car should have came considering how futuristic it is.

DMC is no longer in business because people would hack the floor boards out and smuggle drugs into the US. Deloreon himself never spent anytime behind bars.

They really hacked up the cars back in the day

The mod is fully reversable. The only permanant mod I made was to cut the metal strip away which seperated the air vents from the radio bay. This can be easily replaced, as ive saved the metal piece. Nothing a bit of liquid metal wont fix

It was my dream to own one of these cars since I was young, and seeing as am keeping it, it only makes sence to bring it upto date a little bit. I would have never made this modification If I thought I was ever going to sell.

I still felt bad cutting the piece of metal out with my Dremel.lol

True. I think DMCH "DeLorean Motor Company Houston - Texas" are building something like 15-25 cars per year.
