as for power, see I didnt even thought about AMP kit - I guess I was wrong thinking to attach M2 directly to the battery
however, I'm planning to upgrade stock battery for more power storage as well as stock alternator for providing additional boost
I think the best person to ask is GreatWhite since he has the same car. I am sure he used a AMP kit. Whatever you do plan everything out. Do not rush your install, if all the parts have to sit there for 5 months until you can gather your plan and information, then let it. I rushed my install and I had to pull everything out and this time Ive planned it out. First thing I did was run all major cabling that is hard to run, like the AMP kit (my car required 2 kits) Audio cabling, video cabling, things that require you to remove interior to place. You have your equipment in the trunk, i didnt have that option, so I had to use my center console, which turned out to be not enough because i did not plan. So now my setup takes up the center console, the bottom of the passenger seat and the back of the passenger seat.

Nope, not the same car. Mine is a 300M special, he's got a 300 or 300C, can't remember which....
Mine:
His:
I used 4 gauge welding cable (less than half the price of an "amp kit")
soldiered all my terminal lugs:
or used the audio screw/compression style connectors:
I even went so far as to pack all my non-soldiered fittings with dielectric grease to stave off corrosion:
If you're going to to it, do it right the first time. If you don't, you'll just end up tearing it all out again and doing it all over. So you can do it once, or you can do it thrice.
Your choice...............
The 300C has the battery mounted under the rear seat if I remember (or is it in the trunk, damn memory's going again). Even so, hijack is right, anything less than 8 guage to the power supply wil be "iffy".
I assume your factory radio has an aux in port if you plan to use the stock system?
Here's a quick link to how I mounted mine in the trunk, sounds somewhat similar to your plans:
http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/work...m-special.html
The four pin connector is used to power the cpu on a P4 board, the 20-24 pin is used to power the board.
No memory would definitely cause a problem, I know it is for the big cpu in my head
Good luck!

Odd you would say that, I had an intrepid first:
But "up here", it's a Chrysler Intrepid.
Sold her to buy the 300M Special, newer, faster, nicer........
Well, that's enough hijacking of this thread for now..................

sure you're right white - my battery is in trunk as well as fused power block (also my model has battery output to the front in case I need to jumpstart someone) I guess they thought of a lot of things
also, your install white looks awesome - especially I like the attention to detail, I am most certainly going to go that way on my install as well
yeah, I do have aux at the front, however I am going to get stock connector for my model and just connect wires - I want to cut as less as possible

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by this.....
Are you removing your head unit and attempting to power the speakers from the motherboard/soundcard directly?
If so, that won't work. The computer sound output is "line level" and needs to be amplified in order to be audible.

How come american versions dont have the batteries in diffrent places. Anyways on my setup I have two 150 watt amps, each channel puts out 75 watts (yes they really do, for people that think amps so small cant do so.) Im going to try to find the store that sold them. I know the amps were made for motorcycles. They are about as big as my old Sprint PPC 6700. I see that ebay has even more powerful versions 300watts, but I think thats over kill. http://cgi.ebay.com/300W-2CH-MOTORCY...QQcmdZViewItem

I'll show you the connector once I get it from the dealer

I decided not to go with extra long IDE cable following complaints of poor speed

first, I went to Home Depot and bouht this piece of plywood
nice and thick to support all stuff I'm going to install
since I'm planning to keep my PC in trunk I had to measure the top and cut the plywood to custom fit the opening
then I cut the front side under 45 degree angle
