If so, that won't work. The computer sound output is "line level" and needs to be amplified in order to be audible.
and no, I'm not going to connect it directly - here is the amp I got the other day

It's a 2 channel amp. Clearly visable on the box. It's only made to power two speakers. I don't think I've ever seen that brand before. It's looks like it's aknock of of sony Xplod (why would anyone copy Xplod?????)
You could wire two speakers to each channel if you wanted to power 4 speakers, but I wouldn't recommend it.
It'll look pretty ghetto and probably sound like crap. Not even sure what it would do to your amp impedance wise......
I'd recommend getting yourself a good four channel amp and maybe a decent mono amp for your sub if you really want to run four speakers.
Also, you shouldn't use the infinity speakers if that's your intent. They are 2 ohm speakers, aftermarket sound equipment is meant to run 4 ohm usually.
I only run 2.1 sound myself. MB Quart 6.5 components up front and a 12" sub in the trunk. Sounds great and the rear seat passengers aren't excluded from conversation in the front seat by audio behind them (rear speakers).
Cheers

Or you could go for 2 small motorcycle amps. The ones I have are 150 watts each. So thats 75 watts per speaker, which to me is more then enough.... The even have ones that are 300 watts each, and they are super cheapppppppppppp. You can put them anywhere. Here is a link http://cgi.ebay.com/300W-2CH-MOTORCY...QQcmdZViewItem. Mine do not really generate to much heat, im sure 300 will run slightly hotter. I went with these because I dont like normal size amps, they dont look good at all. So these sit in the center console with all my USB and other components. For the SUB I bought a motorcycle amp also which puts out 650 watts, which is enough for movies and adding extra kick to music. I am not interested in booming down the street making people think someone is bombing them.

see Jack this is exactly what I need - thanks for suggestion bro - most certainly I will need 2 of those
I dont like having music too loud so that 4 blocks down the road people can hear rattling of your trunk - I dont see need for that + it is absolutely tasteless - if I can get stock car sound from 2 of 300W amps I'll be satisfied

I think im going to make a new name.... everyone thinks its my name, lol..... 150 watts per speaker is alot, so you should be more then good. Also they wont be noticable... The 650 watt amp is about the size of 2 of the smaller amps put together, because of the size I can hide that too, and it wont be in the way of my puppies (when i had the two 10's with a big amp, they would cry because they couldnt lay in that spot.) Also you could tune front and rear to perfection with it being to seperate units, unless 4 channel has that ability, never played with one. You may be able to put them in the area were your head unit use to go.... I was going to do it, but I have to much modded cr@p going in there (relays for auto switch mod, and to turn on the monitor). For some reason Dodge made that space very very tight and small....

300 Club
Good to see another Chrysler 300 computer installer. I have a similar setup in the trunk. Also bought two 4 channel amps and mounted them to the back of the rear seats. Here are some pics of my install. I know, crappy phone pics but hey, you see them. Good luck on your install.

It was a joke, plus i could never change the name, I already bought the domain name to start advertising my truck, kinda like a worklog, but for all aspects of the build including exterior, interior, and engine.
