Just finished my Peugeot 206 Carpc + ICE install!

Well after a good while, i have finally finished my peugeot 206's carpc and ice!

Specs:

PC:
1Ghz Via Nehemia
512mb RAM
80GB HDD
DVD/RW
Xenarc 700TS Touchscreen
Philips Cam
USB GPS dongle
Centrafuse SE
Arkon 7" screen
ICE:
Sony CDXM-9900 headunit
JL 4-way amp for components + centre speaker (mmmm 5.1!!)
Audiobahn A1500HCT amp (half metre long amp for the subs!!)
2x A1200N subwoofers
JL 3-way components in the doors.

Pics::

As i have only just finished it this evening, only a few slightly blurry pics (apart from the boot install that was finished a while ago), will give it a go with a proper cam tomorrow!

Also, I have decided NOT to attach the second screen to anything so that it can be passed around - e.g. if i only have one passenger in the front they can watch a movie on it and i can have navigation up, but if i have passengers in the back as well then i can pass that back to them and still have the screen in the front! (i know, the car needs a tidy inside!)

As i say, i will post more up tomorrow if you like that lot!!

All that nice fabrication and work and you put Audiobahn in there.... AND a Sony head unit?!? Shame on you. I'm sorry, but I have personal experience with both companies and the same components. Needless to say they weren't good experiences. And I'm not the only one. Did you do any research on the audio components?

JL is quality, but you're paying at least 50% for the name. You could have done much better on quality audio components with some homework.

Everything else looks great though. Good job and enjoy the CarPC. I know I love mine.

To be honest, it does sound pretty good and i'm not complaining! The headunit really only acts as a volume control / eq in this instance so theres not much to be lost/gained there!

Thanks though

No prob man, to each his own. I just don't like Audiobahn stuff at all so I'm biased. I've used their amps, components, and crossovers. Just not my style of stuff. They get loud, yes, but SQ is highly lacking.

I say if your happy, roll with it. I'm sure you'll enjoy it all very much.

I'm loving that work on the center bezel/insert, nice integration and flow...have you considered matching the color to the dash rather than the black?

I hate to say it, but where are you supposed to put your weekly shopping now?!

In addition, do you not worry for your cars safety and security now that you have modified it?
