Inland is a known brand. You should be able to get that on newegg.com or any other online dealer.

Ok, I have spent the last two days working on doing my actual install in my car. The job is about 80% complete, it is in my car and running, but at the moment, it isn't sitting in place properly. The cables are taking more room than I counted on. I will get pictures of how it sits and all when I do the rest of the work and post it.

Hey, just wondering with the ash tray USB install, is there much room for coins underneath the hub if the back is closed back up again?

Well, I had one overall goal when I started, and that was too make everything look as "factory" as possible. I don't smoke, and I don't allow smoking in my car, so the ashtray which is useless to me was a good hiding spot. I left cut open the back of the console cover where the ashtray slides in to be able to connect to the three ports on the back for internal stuff, BT, WiFi. The space in the tray there is the same after as it was before. Tomorrow, I should finish the install, and I'll post pics of the rest.

Okay I see. I don't smoke either but use it to store all my coinage, so was wondering if I could still do that with the hub in there . Looking forward to your pics

Yes you can, if you watch how much you open the back up. If I was planning on doing that I could have cut it open differently, but the only other idea I had was to put a usb-pcmcia adapter in there beneath my hub, to run my pcmcia phone card that work gives me. But, I found how to enable network access via my windows mobile phone so I don't need that now.

I put my coinage in the drink holders and empty it when I can hold drinks safely anymore. Your idea probably makes more sense there.

Well, two weeks ago, I starting putting my system in, and it has been up and running. I didn't leave enough clearance on the back for the wires coming off the back of the motherboard. Today, I remounted the mobo closer to front, and the frame I built is sitting in perfectly. Tomorrow I will set the screen in, and it will be finished. I will post pics from the install and the final tomorrow night. Didn't take as many pics during the install as I meant too, just got busy working and forgot to stop and shoot.

C'est finis!!! Well, besides a couple of small clean up things. (stupid power sander mistake....)

Ok, two weeks ago, I started my install, I had to remount the motherboard in the frame I built, because the wires were hitting the back two inches early. I had this running for two weeks like that, with duct tape holding the screen in place. I totally forgot to take a picture before I took it out unfortunately, it looked quite amusing. Here is the ghetto mount coming out.

This is the the proper fit depth wise. I realized this had my screen sitting 3/8th's of an inch too tall though.

Another shot

Here is the new front mount. Instead of sitting on the two plastic tabs, I cut them off, and made two Z shaped hooks to hold the tray. I screwed it into the plastic on the top of each one, and epoxied the tray to the tab at the bottom. It's quick and I didn't feel like disassembling the entire thing again. Had I know up sooner, I would have bolted those too.

Left bracket.

Right bracket.

Here is first shot of it in.

Shutter stuck partially closed, D'OH!

DFX, John, your work is amazing.

You can see on the top left when I was sanding the backside with a dremel, it walked around on me when I relaxed my grip for a half second. So, I have one spot to clean up there. I may work on the cd slot a little more too. It's decent but I can do better.

Pretty neat job. I like how you fixed your problem with Z brackets. Necessity is the mother of invention, and your work is testament to that fact.

@Mike: That is the weather app that is included in DFX4.0. It is pulling from weather.com.
