Boost Gauge Project

Hi everyone.

This is the latest project I have done to my car. It's an LED based boost gauged which has been custom made to the dash clock clusters.

I've also designed a graphical gauge for it to go with my in car PC.

Enjoy.

That's fairly awesome. Is it as blinding in the car at night as it looks in the video though? I may do something similar but with a brightness control knob

Yes,

Now the brightness control has been added and is fine. This video was done after it was installed for testing.

How do you read the PSI?
Is 40 mark on the RPM scale the same as 4PSI ?

Nicely done btw!

I have to still add the scales using dry transfer letters.

The boost gauge goes up to ~36PSI. There are 20 LEDs. That makes it ~ 1.8PSI for each LED.

The scale is from 0 to ~36PSI.
