OMG, clean your screen, lol..... Anyways, your install is very nice and clean..... I'm glad it turned out so good, even though you had issues with the Lilliput. I just sent mine to the vendor I bought mine from. He sent me a replacement board for $60.00 dollars, I installed it, tried to do the auto on. It messed up, or I did and hit the auto adjust button while not in the menu. The stupid thing fried again and I sent the whole d@mn screen back to him. I am now in a battle over the $60.00 I spent for a board that had the same defect.

PS: Is that a capacitor next to the soundcard? Is that to keep the lights from blinking when listening full blast?

Yea i really gotta clean that screen lol.. Thats what i get for working on the screen without washing my hands first. I wish i could say my build is completely finished. I'm having serious crashing issues with my computer and i have NO idea why. I'm thinking its a com port issue or how centrafuse is handling the com ports. My system just freezes. I thought it was random but it only happens when i either have bluetooth plugged in or the xm radio kit.

Oh and yup that is a capacitor. I doubt i'm gonna really need it for the little power i'm drawing but i figured better safe then sorry.

HMMM. Do you have a Flux recommended dongle? I got mine from Mo-Co-So, was like 7.99. I use to have a Kensington dongle and it cause so many issues. Also I recommend changing the port for XM to something like port 20. If I kept my XM and HD Radio on port 1 & 2, the system ran really bad. Once I changed it to 20 & 21, I had no problems.

I would unplug them both and try the system without them.

I used some generic usb dongle and it works with centrafuse it just eventually freezes the entire system. I changed my xm port to 21 and i still have the same issue. I'm going to try and run my system with them both unplugged and see if ever crashes. The problem is that there is no set time it crashes so it may run fine for days and that won't definitively tell me anything.

Did you change it under device manager and CF's settings? I would try it without... Also did you try it without CF and rather the software supplied by Mitch?

This is one for the history books. So i tried to force this thing to fail with neither plugged in but still trying to excercise the virtual com ports just to make sure it wasn't a registry glitch. I finally made it fail with no usb devices plugged in. So from there i thought damn maybe its my hardware, specifically the motherboard. Then i tried to think back and remember what i had done besides update centrafuse. I installed Intel Graphics Drivers with that accelerator program. I uninstalled all that crap and went back to my custom drivers from cartft site. So far nothing has failed but i haven't really been able to test it for long. I've plugged everything back in and everything is working perfectly right now. I'm gonna keep trying to force this setup to fail

HAHAHAHAHAHA, thats like with my MoBo. If I use the ATI drivers from ATI, the system acts really bad. If I use Windows drivers, all is good. You know in the end its always the d@mn graphic drivers.

Man i would've never thought bad graphics drivers would freak out the system like that but damn i guess u live u learn. No matter how much software integration you do you will still hit road blocks... Hopefully i've destroyed this block

Well of course now that i've solved one issue i found another one that requires a ton of work. Turns out my screen must be installed too tight or something cause my screen is being pressed when i'm not pressing it. Its happening at the bottom middle. I can't think of anything else that would cause this one.

Its not that hard. The screen must be too tight on one side. Could also be something is stuck in the corner of one side. Be glad you dont have my type Bezel, its such a b!+ch to take out.

Ummm how come you didn't opt for Alpine PDX series? Class D and TINY or Sony's Slim Class D's. Laugh if you want, they sound good, put out great power and are dirt cheap.

Otherwise, cut your nails mane

Nice install...

The alpine pdx series was too expensive for me. Haven't seen the sony slim class d's. I'm not a fan of sony amps, speakers or subs but i wasn't expecting marvelous sound because of my factory speakers. The two amps together cost me like 250 bucks.

I agree, one thing that drew me to the PDX is that its smaller and its stackable. Kimota uses them in his car and they are mind blowing.

On the website they go for $500.00 - $550.00, but I have seen them go for $250.00 - $290.00 which is amazing for the sound you get. The Pioneers are nice, almost the same size of the PDX, just not stackable. Before you bought your amps, did you measure? The way I did it is I got measurements then built a card board version, since I do not have the amps yet.
