Hey BX,

I ordered my Double Din dash piece from Honda but mine looks a lot different than yours does. I was wondering as I was looking at yours, does your bezel for your screen slide into the DD dash piece or did you have it custom fabricated by Nexson or what??? I'll post a picture of my dash piece when I get home so can you have a better understanding of what I mean. I read that you said you did some cutting and got your screen to fit but it just looks so different than mine.

I like your amp and speaker choice i am going to do the same thing. Pioneer is cheaper and usually has good sound. I was wondering which amp did you decide on, are your speakers component or coaxal and how is the sound quality of them. i am thinking of doing amp and speakers now as i build the computer

I used a metra kit. Then u have to modify the brackets a little on the kit so the double din screen will fit correctly

My speakers are completely stock. All i did was add the Pioneer GM-6400F. I actually bridged the amp too so all four speakers run to one channel and my sub runs to the other channel. It sounds pretty good

I started to notice that my chipset must be getting to hot cause my video started to have a really bad ghosting effect when it got really hot outside. My solution was either get a PCI video card or figure out how to keep the unit cool. I went the cheaper route and just cut two giant holes in the top of my MCS case. Now my cpu temp was like 62C when it was 95F outside. I think that is an excellent improvement. I think the MCS cases are not designed for places where it gets really hot. All you people in Alaska should be ok with MCS case. Everyone else get a drill and start drilling holes.

I got it from amazon... I also WOULD NOT recommend them since it took then three tries to get dash piece right. Its just a metra civic kit. Its pretty common and u can get it from any car electronics store.
