I can't see your pictures

I have a question, I have an 8 and I fitted my PC in the boot, where did you take your ground from, mine is of the rear seat mount at the moment, but I have a very noisy ground in the car that seems to keep rebooting the PC, sounds as if your solved the problem if only I could see how you did it

cheers
Andy

I've power my pc and monitor directly from battery with separately wires (+ and -). -It is main rule in instalation.
I've use only ACC from car in my project for switch on of pc and monitor.

Sorry for my english.

I've fight all noises.

Pls see picture:

Sorry for my comments. it's on russian. I will translate it ASAP.

M2-ATX, bluetooth, GPS-BU-353, Wi-Fi, GPRS/EDGE internet modem, WinXP SP3, Centrafuse, iGO8.

my english is not so good, but I try to explain you.

right. I have run new wires from battery. both +(pos) and Ground. It is hightly recommended.

All components in your system (carpc case, monitor, amplifier, radio-reciever) should be grounded in one point on body of car.

Capacitor and throttle is a power filter and must be located in carpc case before you power your PSU (you can find how it's made in any stand alone lilliput monitor package).

You can made the throttle by yourself.

Ferrite ring you will found in unworking ATX PSU for desktop.

Pls see my previous pictures.

Capacitor must be 25V 10000 mkF min.

You can find same pictures here
