2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee "iJEEP"

I am a first time poster but a Long time browser here and enjoy looking at people's installation's. So I thought that i should put up pictures of mine. they are a bit rough. but here goes.

a picture of the dash before i did anything

i've seen people simply remove their stereo and install amps to the carputer, but i wanted to keep the stereo. since i didnt have an aftermarket one yet, i used the stock one.

i didnt have any bondo or anything to mount it solid so i made a backplate, taped off the vents, and mounted it.

a visual of it turned on...

after product. i didnt like the bare look so i made a foam border around it.

finally got a deck and got it to say "iJeep"

quick snap of the computer. it isnt anything special at the moment but it works rather well. it is a HP thin-client 800mhz 512mb RAM, 30GB HDD, it does the job at the moment.

also a rough look at the indication

i'm looking to upgrade my system again. maybe re-do the dash but this is what i have. since i got most of my inspiration from this forum. thanks to everybody!

Injector is on a distinguished road
considering you already have the basic form made out of foam you can always add fiberglass resin to the foam to make it hard and then finish it off with body filler to smooth out the pores on the foam

I had thought about it and do intend on completely finishing the dash and making it look "pretty" and all. But funds are low.. most of the hardware i used to install came out of my junk drawer. lol including the screen and the computer!
