Talking Nissan Qashqai+2 embedded car puter

From a initiative by Snowy (user of another italian forum), to which my thanks go to for help and early advice ,
here is the first stage (as yet in the course of work) for my first carputer.

Now are months of work, a little to dilute the cost and then to do a good job;
simultaneously i'm continuing to study solutions to this new world on the Italian forum and others like this.

The purpose of the project is to make the work more possible embedded with features of Nissan Qashqai+2 giving the possible idea of what came with the car and not hung there with tape and glue vinyl: lol:.

The sound enters the original system via the AUX, obviously, when a call is placed the original audio system go in mute and i can aslo use the volume controls (like cruise control) and the original steering wheel.

The photos have not been resized for you to share the details.

hoping you like this first work, i'll post progress

Interesting, I like the integrated switches. Do you have any means of regulating the voltage, or is it hooked up directly the battery?

Thanks for posting. Keep us updated on any mods!

For now the eeebox is connected directly to a 12v wire that come from a big wire behind the consolle selected from an electrician during alarm installation.

I measured current oscillation and go from 11v to 13v (main oscillation is when power on the car); i've planned to buy a regulated dc/dc but at the moment i power up carpc only after the car .
