hmmm thats actually a great idea ... we do have alot of space there, and all those compartments... i havent thought about it ... but now that i think about it... this is probably where im gonna mount my second monitor, or the parking sensors monitor...
however before you do it, keep in mind that its not going to be very comfortable to look up while you are driving.
either way, good luck with the project and post some pictures, im sure we can pick up some ideas from each other... i have not yet seen other tundras with a carputer, so it will be awesome to see and discuss this with another person (o;'

What skin is that in the photo taken from the passenger side view? All black and orange... very cool.. That would match REAL well in 2nd gen nissan vehicles.

Nice install though, great job! I love toyota's interior styling, although I'd have issues with my dust OCD with that shiny black plastic.

How much fabrication did you have to do for the display?

How much fabrication did you have to do for the display?
Was the stock console shiny black?

I have a Sequoia that I'm gathering info to learn what kind of task and cost this really is.

for the fabrication, get one of these http://cgi.ebay.com/2007-2008--Tundr...20165007r36935
it fits the 7" lilliput perfectly, all you gonna have to do is make some mouning brackets.
you should also have a nice amount of space for wiring.
