Very nice. Does that cover swing down over your screen? If so it would be cool to see what it looks like closed.

Very cool, PV. Love the idea of a built-in dyno for the future. If I ever get the itch, I'll be sure to use your site as a guide to do something similiar in my G.

Question about stock Bose System

I just bought an 05 350z - Same color as yours. Awesome job you did I have to say. I am new at this and I am planning to install a pc system in the next month or two - just researching and planning at this time -- I want to know how to wire the pc to the car speakers. Is it just as simple as connecting the audio out from the pc to the back of the factory Bose stereo. Does it have an audio in in the back? Thanks

Made a decision on the computer already!

Thanks for the link, I will call them to make sure it is compatible with the 05's before I order it -- I am almost convinced to go ahead with a mac mini and I am leaning more towards using the large compartment behind the passenger seat with an external dvd/ cd drive mounted in the cup holder mini compartment - I am putting together a website soon so I can document everything for fellow carputers and share my experience.

Oh btw, this http://www.carbotpc.com/store/index....=category&id=5 has a very nice system ready to go, but found it expensive.

I have a question about the CPU case. Did you cut out the back of the fold down pocket and is that case as far back as it would go in there?

Gotta love the Nissans
My first car was a Nissan, you should check out my previous setup (the "ghetto" one in my sig)
Might give you some pointers as to how to do your next carputer
