Scott - Thanks for all the detailed info on your setup. The way it's wired now, what happens if you just turn off the car without shutting the PC down? Does it continue to drain power, or just turn off? Is that so bad?

As for your tems, I'm more of an Intel and AMD overclocker, but 117F is incredibly low. That's pretty much below the stock operating temp of any mainstream chip. 107F for the case is kind of warm, but not too bad for the hard drive, and apparently it doesn't cause the chip to spike, either.

Pretty cool install!

It's plugged into a non-switched outlet, so the CarPC continues to run if I turn the engine off.
