Guvi....

You mentioned it is a double din facia with original 1 din console. How did you secure in the climate control stuff? Is it glued/screwed down?

And did you have to alter anything behind the facia, like the 1 din dash? Ie move brackets, cut bits off so that the screen would fit etc?

sure the dash was altered. behind the facia some parts were cutted off and so on...

the climate control is now only spread in between dash and shelf below. itīs not a perfect solution, but it is a solution :-)

here you can see what i mean:



but the install isnīt finished yet. im planning a little cover below the climate where i want to install the powerON-button and some other switches for the interior lighting. then the climate cannot any longer out

How did you remove the WHOLE centre console? I have removed the facia, but dont know how to get the rest off?

@pabs

you have to remove the ?"gloveshelf"? and the cover under the steering-wheel. last but not least you have to remove the ashtray, then you should see all the screws for the console.

i hope you know what i mean...
