Smile My 2000 Toyota Landcruiser Install

Hello Everybody

Here's a couple of pictures of my install.

I used a Gateway laptop with a broken screen as my system.
Chopped up Lilliput 7" Monitor for touchscreen
440W Sony Explod Amp
Wireless Networking 802.11b
GPS
Game Controller for Madden and Tony Hawk

I will be updating my website over the next few weeks so check back.

I'll have more detail pictures in the future.

Oh god, how I miss my Landcruiser.....

I always wanted to do that with mine, but as it was leased I couldn't be bothered.

Nice install though...

I'm just using pc games. Madden, Tony Hawk, Unreal

Do any of those PS/2 - PC emulators work worth a damn?

Can you post some pics of how you mounted/modified the screen. I've cut down my Lilli to fit my 04 4runner dash. I glued some mdf strips to the sides of the Lilli case and used body filler and paint to give it a nice finish. I haven't decided exactly how to hold it in place yet. I prefer not to glue it in.

Your dash opening (vertically) appears a bit bigger than the 04 4runner.

I see you're using Stree Atlas for GPS. Do you have the Delorme USB GPS? If so, where did you mount it? Do you have any USB issues when coming out of hibernation?

Rando, I didn't take any pictures of the install. I'll have to take some when I put my tv tuner in soon. To mount the screen I bent a lexan (home depot 1/8" bends at 200F) frame to bolt into the stock holes, and epoxied that into the rear of the Lilliput case. I had to cut the top off of the lilliput case to get the whole thing to fit.

I wish I had some pics of the laptop install and the amplifier. I'll get those for you guys this week. I have an annoying audio problem that I want to fix as soon as possible. A loose RCA to 1/8" connector is making the 440W amp buzz like it's possesed by Frank Zappa.
