It looks beautiful,
very very stockish

Is that just a very thin layer of bondo over a piece of plexiglass?

What parts did you use? This is one of the most aestheticly pleasing designs I've seen.

I would like to know where you got that Slim Drive? Is it IDE or USB? I want one I want one How does it handle shock from driving?

Its a slimslot panasonic drive (they're the only people who make them) mounted to a firewire bridge. It works absolutely great, if it skips, it recovers usually in time before the buffer underruns in winamp.

Im prity sure its Bondo. Painting over Acrlyic wouldnt be such a great idea.

That paste looking suff is Bondo, and it is sandable. I was the one that helped psyclobe on the install. The paint used is special for plasitc and automotive applications.
