I'm interested in that skin too. Its hard to find skins that have larger buttons that accommodate touch screens at small resolutions.

IG

SAWEEEET!

Very nice setup man. I feel your pain on running crazy wires in a brand new car.....thank god for the orque wrench. Anyway, congrats, looks awesome...

btw, as a general comment has anyone else noticed the general tendency us carputer guys have to want to take apart and re-do an installation as soon as it is working? I had that happen with my first (glovebox) install. No more than 3 weeks before i had a new plan

The case looks nice, even if you are gonna trash it!

Thanks for the http://www.performance-pcs.com/ link. That is a great site for us custom guys. Case looks good too.

I also am fiberglassing my trunk for my car comp. and sub and am documenting the process for a tutorial web site. Can't wait to see how yours turns out. Perhaps we can share notes.

Ummm one more thing.... Why the Land Rover skin? That isnt a land rover is it?.....

later, moltensilver

I didnt Yet! Updated with two new shots of the finished fiberglass enclosure for the amps (instead of the spare wheel ) & interior led install.

Now all I need is to replace my factory pedals and those picture will look so much better!

Also finally upgraded the audio!

Front: JL XR650 CSi's - Components
Rear : JL XR570 CXi's - Coaxials

Fronts and rears!

JL 300W/4 Channel amp powering the soundstage.

Shipping as we speak. JL 12W6v2 D4 sub

Next purchase on the list is JL 500/1 amp for the sub!

I've already started sound deadening the trunk for it

That is awesome! However you can't go though that much trouble building a computer enclosure for the trunk and not molding the screen into the dash Its against the law I think

Just curious, is the screen capable of flipping back into that "pocket" on the top of your dash when not in use? That's a great anti-theft solution if it does. Nice install, really clean, I love it.
