Work in progress: 2000 Nissan Maxima

First of all I'd like to say thank you to all of you with those great installs that have inspired me to do something like this. Something that I would never dare to start doing myself.

Here's the back of the stock GXE wents. I made a little frame from a cardboard, soaked it in fiberglass thing and let it dry.

On the front side, I'm using the bondo body filler to make it look nice. Hopefully we (my friend is being a great help in all this) have enough skills to make it look nice. Any advice on sanding this thing?

This is the idea:

Any advices on this setup? What do you peoplez think? Thanks!

it looks like the screen is too far too the left, and to sand it...a good idea would be a sander, just because it would give you a flat surface...but you can also use 3m palm non-powered sander, and i think 300 paper...but check on that

the reason screen looks too far to the left is that the left part was already sanded a little and right part is all mess. and yea, a sander would be great...

yunusyu, you're from WH? Me too

Where are the pics? I'd love to see your status on this project. I have a 2000 Max and am trying to figure out if I should mount a screen in the dash or mount on the side with an arm.

As I mentioned before I went a different way with this.... and forgot to take pics. But I'll take pics of the ready product. However, I'm really thinking about going the motorized in-dash screen

oh yea, yunusyu, the fact that I live in WH does not make me like the same gender (read: gay). So don't worry, if I see you around I won't hit on you.
