Well the specs are in my signature... oops need to change that to INSTALLED, but oh well. The first 2 pics are the trunk. I used velcro to keep stuff on the ground, as well as to hinge my case top. Third pic is the 7" Lilliput Touchscreen, it's on a stand. 4th shows how I can remove it and throw it in my glove box, don't want to attract attention to my car. Next shows the sanded piece of plexi it's on. I was originally going to sand down that piece and use body filler and paint it black, but I'm going to eventually add LED's behind it, so the frosted look will be cool. I used hot glue to attach the stand. The last pic is just my car. Let me know if you have any questions or comments. Thanks.

Nice looking install. Neat screen mount/dismount idea.

Thanks for the comments.
About the monitor, well the lilliput comes with a short cable attached permamently to the monitor that's ~5" long. It also comes with a cable that attaches to the 5" cable on the monitor and outputs VGA as well as USB (touchscreen). So I drilled a hole to run the long VGA/USB cable through, and put a rubber band on both sides, so it stayed put (didn't want to glue it). Then I just plug/unplug it and stow it. The main reason I didn't fab was security, and I think it looks sweet how it is.

Have you thought about spraying the screen casing black for that last cosmetic touch?

No, I don't want to take it out of it's case until my warranty expires. I say keep it intact as long as possible with those pricier components.

Well, the hot glue gave out today. I finally snapped and screwed it on there, what I should've done from the beginning. It's true, there's never engough time to do it right, but there's always time to do it over. Got a USB hub that I will soon be hardwiring to the onboard 5v line. Also , In the near future I will be hardwiring my egg onto the ITPS. The egg runs ~13 Volts plugged into the cig adaptor.. It's funny, because the screen stops scrolling when the bass hits, as the voltage is evening out. Well, thanks for the comments. I'll keep further devolpment posted.

You're right. I just started fiberglassing a sub enclosure a few days ago, it's got about 4 layers on it right now, ready to rip out of the trunk tonight.

I was going to mention about the hot glue, but i see it already happened.

It happen to me too, i was thinking that hot glue was permanent, but i guess after hot temps and movement it just gives way.

Yea, It didn't hold, but that's fixed now. Now I'm currently working on my custom fiberglass sub box. From my initial mesurements, my box will be about 1 cubic foot. Kicker recomends anywhere from 1 ft^3 to 2.4 ft^3 so volume isn't a concern. I had a little excess fabric i couldn't tuck away, so I made that little ledge from the top of the mount ring, this works perfectly in my trunk, and I'm very satisfied with it. Well here's the pics. BTW, that's just felt.
edit:: no more pics

That looks nice! It's a good idea to hide the monitor away
