I only need the PCB and a P-FET for the power control
And I got it in the next week

A awful thing happen last week, a scooter has drive in the side of my car,

Monday I gone drive to get repair
Thy say et take 1-2 week to finish the work

So when I got it back I want to install the System

The prototype of the shutdown controller is finish and all work perfect

It can control a current around 30 Amp.

Function

1. Tank battery automatic switch to tank battery when main power loos, this controlled by to relay

2. to control the main power to the dc-dc converter and power on and off the pc, I use a PIC controller coming from PICAXE and it only cost 2 $ and very easy to program.

I use standard car relay with homemade connector, maybe not nice but it wrok

The next step is to make the final layout with 2-3 more function where I need a bigger PIC with more I/O pin.

The plan is to hide the radio insite the dash,

then make a remote cable to the from radio to the forntpanel of the radio

If it's posibel to move cable from the radio to the sun vison, the front panel will be instald there..

When I destined to hide the radio inside the dash, it was a goodbye to the cd

I have a cd/dvd drive in the computer to use

The only thing I use the radio to is

1. A part of the power control system
2. as amp. For the pc
3. and to uses as radio

I have made power control system to be sure, I not com to my car and the battery is empty

Function

The switch block with pin 1,2,3,4 and x

It can only one connection form 1,2,3,4 to x at the time

1 to x = always power
2 to x = power when the radio switch to CD aux function
3 to x = power when the radio is ON
4 to x = power when you start the car..

If you use the 1 to x function, the controller sound every 5 sec, if you press reset the sound stop , it’s because the system can dry you battery in this function ( if you forget it )

This 4 function give you opportunity have power on the system all possible way

Hi!
Could you tell me which components are you using for D1 and N1 on the power supply? Are these the same that appear on the max668 datasheet typical configurations?

Many thanks!

By the way, awsome job you have there!
