damn that screen looks nice in that dash, I have an ibiza and was looking to do something similar. problem is many people would want to break in and take the screen, so im stick with the idea of having the head unit located in bottom din and will need to move the spare compartment to the top. as i havent actually bought a screen to test it with yet, i was wondering how tight it fits into the gap, is there room to have rails on each side to slide the screen in and out so it can then just be tilted ?

It take long time to build it in the dash, because the space wash to small, an I don’t want to destroy the dash around the TFT screen only the one that the TFT screen is build in.

If I want a new car, I replace original part in 60-90 min in this and then it back to standart.

The is not space for rails ;o(

It’s bad other people not can leave hands from other person things

no i mean the actualy surround that holds the lights, cup holder etc. i think you said they were $30 ? i have the cupra which comes with climate control, but i assume the area where you have the screen mounted will be the same.

I was also wondering what materials you used to fill around the screen and to spray ?

I use a kind off epoxy around the screen, and the some structure spray to make the same structure as the dash. And the at last spray it in a color as the dash to make the finish

In the start I was thinking to paint this in the same color as the car, and talk with car painter, and he say that I’ll never get the finish if I want to paint in the same color.

He say I’ll get better finish if I use structure paint (spray), and the color as the dash, and then he say, “give me10$ and I paint for you”. ;o)

So if I was you I’ll try to find a car painter and ask he to help for some small coins
