I have start a new project to put a pc

Every thing have to be low power

The Projece End 24-10-2006, Some one has stolen the center consol

15/6 2004 I have add 3 step (6,7,8) "section" on the way to the end

26/7-2004 Finish Center Consol

29/-2004 Finish PCB for power supply

17/10-2004 Finish PC Carbon Case

12/9-2005 Center Consol install after long time..

Hi

Now I have finish step (9,10,11,12) on my project

and the most important the power control board, it control all the power to the system.

This board can be uset to other system with small mod...

Nice planing...Waiting to see the final result.A friend of mine has a car just like yours and he wants to install a Carputer also, he may get some ideas from your project.
By the way im going to see Denmark play here in Portugal next week, i was impressed with their match against italy....

The Ibiza i have is only the Tdi 100 hp with 17" RS4
this car in denmark is expencive about 35.000 $

I have model 2002 to buth only 2½ month old

I have found a disgram of a power suplly

go from 8 Volt to 20 volt and the output is 12 volt it have only 2.5 amp
I change the construction so it can give 5-7 amp

the power suplly have a less heat only 4 Watt

The ITPS at 16 volt at 5 amp burn 20 watt in heat

next week I got a new Midt consol to the car, the i move the radio one slot down and make more space over it to a 7" tft screen so I get my on design midt consol paint in the colour off the car.

Ey, I have the same car, Moloko, how will you make the input (pc sound) to the radio/clima? I have the cd charger installed. Still don´t know how to connect the sound, radio/clima or the JBL 4 channels power (how´s the name of this part?) that I have also.

I will have the input from the PC to the radio via the Aux and I use a cable from Blaupunkt is a Adapter lead ISO 8-pin (plug) to 3,5 mm jack plug (7 607 897 093)

The radio I have has only one aux input, and it’s okay why have a cd charger installed if you have a PC, you can use the cd charger box to build in a pc ( Mini-itx )

Well, first of all my car is like Moloko´s car, model from 99 to 03, not the new one as you, so on, we do not have aux input.
And I still don´t have a pc in my car, but this week I am starting ordering the components

, but it´s more difficult to find them in Europe than in Usa; where to get a good power supply?

hi there, yeh i got the Chill edition Ibiza. i had a CD changer too but its gone now to make room for the Pc (its going to be bolted where the CD changer was). To get AUX input i bought an adapter that goes where the Cd change cable goes as input into the Stereo (se pic). the adaptor is called Connects2 adaptor http://www.stceurope.com/connects2.htm
