1995 Mazda 323F install - Final
Hi there fellow MP3CAR's
I finally got around to post my project......
But let me say a BIG thanks to everybody on this forum - it has been a great help for me to be able to find so much knowlegs on one forum.....that is awsome
just  and you will find all the answers you need.....
I have based my setup on following
Via 800 Mhz
256 mb ram
160 GB hard drive
Lilleput touchscreen
D-link USB radio
Griffin Powermate
Itune PW 70a powersupply
ITPS
Windows XP Pro....
RoadRunner
Haicom HI-202S
Simacar navigation from Simatech
Here is a full view
This shows where my main powerbotton is and where USB memorystick goes in
My USB Hub + PS/2 for keyboard
and then let the pictures speak for them self...
And finally the trunk view, where the pc and amplifire is installed...

No it is not a CD changer box :-), this is a ITX cabinet from cartft.com.
it was very cheap around 69.- euro..

Just like mine, but i think i will build a personalized box because of the size of the Opus...Everything is very tight.
Nice install, congratulations....
By the way today im going to see the game Denmark Sweden ( Euro 2004 ), both teams are playing good football.

Well you have to take out the HVAC control unit, and take it apart..
i dont know if yours looks like mine, but here is some pictures of how i did it..
The red text stats the plus lead.
Here you can see all the LED's, thies do not need a resistor, that is build in on the print.
And all other buttons is changed as well, such as rearwindow heater, but thies needs a resistor around 500 ohms and ½ a watt.
And BTW the instruments - thies i have made my self as well, normally they are black with green light, but i changed that with some EL-foil "paper" from EBAY, that is some kind of "paper" that you provide with 12 volts and it will emit bright blue light..

Nope, i'm using the Mediacar as "headunit" directly to the amplifier, that is a 4*300 watt, but i need to expand it with another one to drive a 12" sub that i'm thinking about installing.
