Congrats on the nice install!

The case is still way better than all those who put several components in the trunk with wires in between. Your car can still be used

Wink AUX in for the Ford RNS

Hi!

Sorry for this simple question.

I've the same car (Galaxy 2001) whith this Ford Radio Navigation System. I'm very interested on accesing the AUX imput in the back of the RNS, but in the russian link I cannot find it (http://www.erta.ru/base/ford/ford_rns.shtml), Sorry, my russian is not good ;-P
Could you please tell me what pins are the AUX input in the russian diagram?
Also, is it simple to dismount the radio?
BTW, do you have any general or technical info about this radio, or links about it? I'd be vey glad and thankful if you could help me a bit.
Thanks
ccanade
P.S. Sorry, I'm not belgian. I'm from Spain.

Hi Guys,

It's been a while... I'm very sorry I did not post the picture.

But a lot has changed in the meanwhile. I don't drive this car anymore, I drive a Volvo XC90 now and I didn't want to drill any holes in my new car, so my setup is now used for a htpc.

I am still very intrested in the 'car-PC revolution' and I'm planning on buying one of those ASUS R2H UMPC's when they hit the stores by Q3 of this year. (I hope) That will be my new base system I will be using for a new setup.

I didn't check out the latests posts on the forum... but I can imagine that a lot of users will find the new UMPC's to come very appealing for all this car-pc stuff.

I'm off for now... maybe in a couple of months I'll be back...
