Sup guys after a lot of thinking and planning here is my install.
- Dell 4100 notebook (PIII, 512MB RAM, 80gig HD, Geforce2Go) w/ docking station. All secured and LOCKED in the trunk
- Xenarc 7" TSV LCD touchscreen with Highbrite option, autoturn on, multiple inputs
- Griffin Powermate (the knob is awesome..matches PERFECTLY with my stock radio)
- buttons and switches for the screen and switch the music from XM to PC and vice versa, power button for the laptop.
- Jensen Remote control
- 1X4 port USB hub with custom 5V power supply.
- IRMAN (infrared receiver for the PC)
- USB Rikaline Bluetooth GPS
- USB Bluetooth receiver for DUN with my verizon v710.( wireless internet )
- Bluetooth Foldable Palm Keyboard
- Modified Jeff Much shutdown controller, modified to start my laptop as well.
- USB touchpad (hardly need to use it since the LCD is a touchscreen.
Total cost was somewhere $1000-$1500.
I basically moved the stock LCD to the bottom compartment by extending a bunch of wires (40 or so), and put the xenarc there instead. Almost a perfect fit. =) didn't even have to gut the case etc...
Only had to extend the wires for the xenarc buttons.
Audio input is pretty much an aux in. I tapped into the XM input in the trunk using 4PDT relay. With a flip of a switch i can go from computer to XM sound.
Sound clarity is awesome. The stock sound system is something I would not dream of replacing (5.1 dvd audio system).
I'm still in the process of adding OBDII as well. I have some more pics of my install here and in the following pages in this thread:

Let me know what y'all think.

This is stock dash.
Thats all for now!
