Is this better than the standard system in the BMW 7xx I see in your garage? I was told that that has a standard system build in including Traffic info and navigation and so.

Hey guys

Glad you like the install. I mean it was not as involved as some of the others on site.

yunusyu the screen is using a navwithtv.com unit for $399 u hit it on the money. It came with a remore control which you can see on the pic to the left of the i-drive its only function is to tougle between the i-drive screen and the video input.

aguila the 745 does have navigation system in it and it does come with live Traffic contral its standard. On my 5 the navigation is not standard the reason why i did not go for it is i was planing on puting a computer in this car even before i decided to buy it, the nav screen will stretch the image, i like my screen right now its 5'7 but the images are not stretched.

Yea i done the work my self it took me two days to hook it up to the battery, i used an fm modulator first horrible but now i got AUX install at the dealership so the sound is great now.

You can see the case is fliped upside down, by though way its the new OPUS Mini-Itx case it comes with the build in fan and 90W power supply.

rafaelsherman one pic is music videos this is why i put a computer in my car i have over 400 the other is a picture of the I-Drive menu which is a front end for my car.

Quick question do you guys think if i put a 7' to that power supply it will have enough power??

thank you for the information. What do you control with the wireless mouse?

Are you happy with this device?

Great install.

Must ask how do you like the new 5? I am debating if I should upgrade mine, I currently have a E39 which I love.

hey guys yep yep its all true a bimmer is an awsome ride, to be honest if somebody wants to show off they get a benz if you know about cars you get a bmw.

BasicEvil dude honestly i had a 01 5 and i loved it when i seen the new E60 i did not like it at first the looks you have to get used to plus inside is much more simplified, but after driving it for a bit i knew i had to get.Its bigger then the E39, not to mention faster in any model, now the inside is your personal prefrence i personaly think that the E39 had a much more nicer interior.
how is your e39 did you put a carputer in it?

E39 is great, thats why I have been reluctant to part with it.

I guess the new look takes some getting used to. The jury is still out for me.

Added the puter to it. I didn't have the nav system so I removed the radio and replaced it with the touchscreen.
