Wow. That is one awesome and clean install.

What kind of tools did you use for making the screen enclosure?

Just so you know, a couple of the pictures on your site don't work.

On page "Install 2":
file:///Macintosh%20HD/Users/tberry/Desktop/Hardware%20for%20Car/Web%20Page/Images/ScaledDown/42.jpg

On page "Install 3":

I was thinking of doing something like this for my '99 Plymouth Voyager since there's nowhere to put the screen. I think I might use your website as a guide if I do go this route, so I hope you keep up the pics for a while...you did an excellent job. Congrats.

Great install. The way the monitor is in, or is it on, the dash is absolutely awesome.

Thanks for the encouragement, I appreciate it.

Question: Thanks for the dead pic links. I'll fix them as soon as I can. As far as tools to build the enclosure, just regular shop tools and a 350 degree oven to bend one part of the plexiglass.

ACleanSC4: It's made it through a Virginia summer with no problems so far. I've got a sunshade to keep it cool but it's been too hot to touch on several occasions when I neglected to put it up and so far, so good.

did you ever get past the problem with the computer sending the pulse to the screen motor at bootup?

Nope. But I have to admit I haven't worked on it too much. I got one suggestion to calibrate the servo and I want to look into that as it sounded promising. I've just got to find the time to get out to the car and dig the servo out of the dash, open it up and try calibrating it. I may have to wait until it's a lot warmer to do that!
