1995 Toyota Hilux (pickup) finally

Ive finaly installed the pc.. after along time of sorting parts and building it all up..
here it is, still a few things to do.. but its all working for now

the specs are: via V10000 mobo.. 512mb ram.. 40gb 2.5" HHD.. opus 90W

microwave and frezzer proof too.

the screen is a casca. its 7" and and fully automaic foling.

nice spelling mick :P anyways, this has been a long time in the making, and it was good to, after all the talking about this carputer, finally see it pretty much finished (well, usable) and get to play daytona while you were driving me home! My single disk mp3 player sucks after scrolling through ur whole mp3 collection!

I was planning a visor instal at one point... I picked up a spare from a salvage yard to play with. You might think on it. It would leave you with the spare to put back if you pull the install to sell the truck.

I had a 96 HiLux Double Cab, you've done a good job on a vehicle with no spare room for anything...

I didn't think Toyotas had standard DIN slots. Did you modify the dash at all??

All the older Toys have standard DIN at least through the 90's. Not sure about the Taco era but I think they do also.

its been a very long time in the making.. alot of colleting.. and i think its far from over, still plenty to do and re-do.. like all my in the process plans.. and yes i will wire up my lights on day..

toyota's have standard din slots.. all the mounting holes even line up real nice.. ive found european cd plays i.e blaupunkt wont fint as good and line up as good as the jap made cd players..

after measuring the key board i got i realized it JUST too big to fit in the visor but it does fit nicely in the glove box. an seeing as i dont have gloves. i can use it for my keyboard.
