Next Xenarc Morex loves E46

************************************************** ****

Hi Community

I´ve been following the idea of implementing a carpc for 3/4 year now...these days, it will come true...project is 80% finished...lille things like mobile phone implemenation have to be done. Anyway, nice projects are present here for the E46...now here are pictures of my solution. If anybody needs a copy of the Xenarc frame, just PM or email me at kenischi@gmx.de...i will show what i can do!

Cornerdates:

Carcomp: Xenarc700TSV,Morex2699,CF-WLan,Carnetix1260,
80gigSams2,5",AudigyUSB,Cinergy600,epia12000,GNS98 30

Audio: Eton 2-wege 16er Referenzsystem,Alpine Class-A 3558,Pioneer
CD 1000 Active Parametric,Audiocontroll ESP3
(Soundprozessor),Precison Power PPI 2300, Eton 12" Sub

I was very keen on modelling the frame as it looks like original, even the surface. I think it nearly came true.

Now the pictures:

Sorry dudes, my pictures were offline, more or less uploaded them again on a more secure webspace
The frontend is still C.E.S (http://www.ecarpc.de/)
I´m still producing the bezel, if you need information, call me

well done

I will make some better pics during sun daylight

kenischi@gmx.de

...to be continued, feedback wished, maybe more pictures will follow (2-3 weeks Precision Power is painted silver-gold and sub 12" is running)

Cheers Janus

Hi Ola

I do my best to understand you, but what does "RR" stand for?
The Frontend? It´s C.E.S from www.car-pc.info Forum here in Germany.
Recommendable....www.ecarpc.de/index.php?goto=rscard

Cheers Janus

Janus - do you have the rs-modul installed in your car? And if so, what are your impressions and how are you using it?

Fantastic install!!! It looks like it came from the factory like that! I like the way that you installed the amps, but could you show us some pictures of the computer build / install? Fantastic.

If you look hard enough, then you'll see the computer hanging above the amps... I think

Hi Mp3car community

As promised the project is now finally closed, up to the 15 " Eton, the system runs the perfectly. The Centerspeaker (13er Eton+ 2HT´s) I fixed under the middle ventilation blower, putin a hole below the nozzles and took up a MDF housing for the 13er over the air ducts. The systems sounds really perfect. In Comparison to a installed Alpine-CD Player, i can say, the audio signal of the carcomp ís really the same.

The E46 we are talking about

Components Morex, Audiocontol ESP3, CD1000 Parametric

Dash, C.E.S Mainmenue, Eton-Center, Eton-Door

The Reference Amplifiers, Precision Power ppi 2300, Alpine Class-A 3558

Well done, looks pretty nice, doesn´t it

Since I get many requests concerning an identical copy of the Xenarc_46 screen and I lost lille overview, I would like to ask you again to place to me a Mail at kenischi@gmx.de. I could be persuaded and an ordering of this screen is now possible. I will provide a polyester mold together with a specialist of building of forms. In approx. 8-14 days everything is finished.
3 Variants are possible and you can leave your xenarc-front-housing original

1. Screen poured, surface untouched without holes ( for paint experts)
2. Screen painted/prushed (Glasurit best Ralley black, 2-3 coatings, original plastic-surface imitation roughly-matt (like pictures))
3. Screen painted completely with Xenarc Touch/display installed (send me your xenarc, assembly with warranty assumption for people, who want to go safely)

Maybe some pictures will follow, now `njoy
