2003 Acura CLS-PC

Guys, looking to get some feedback on my setup. Check it out here
My Setup....
CAR: -03 Acura CL-S 6 speed w/stock navigation
PC: -MAPower VIA Mini-Itx M1000, 256MB PC2100, 60 GB 2.5" HD, built-in DC-DC Power Supply,
-802.11b wireless usb adapter.
-Targus USB 2.0, Slim-external DVD-ROM
-ATI Remote Wonder (only means of controlling pc)
-XM Direct w/hacked serial cable
VIDEO: -Navi+ (a plug'n'play video conversion device allowing me to display the TV-out of my M1000 onto the stock Navi screen while keeping the stock Navi functions using a toggle switch (seen in pics on above site) to switch back and forth from PC video to Stock Navi/HVAC video). This unit is unique in that it comes with acura oem connectors so that I didn't have to hack up the stock navi wires therefore keeping my warranty valid
AUDIO: -Blitzsafe Adapter into stock HU
-12" Kicker Comp w/MRD300 Alpine
-Stock Bose System
SOFTWARE: MediaEngine Beta, FrodoSatRadio, WinDVD 6.0, Girder.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with how everything is functioning. Only thing is kinda limiting is that I only have the ATI Remote for an input device. I would love to figure out how to utilize the stock Navi's touchscreen but can't find any info on it. Anyway, what you guys think?

Yeah, sorry about the video. I originally took it to show some co-workers the software. As far as the mounting goes, its the stock unit. I didn't change anything with the actual screen hardware.

I'm a fellow MD'er. I'm near BWI airport. What year CL do you have? Are you an Acura-cl.com member? Have any pics/info of the Digimoto working? I'm thinking that is the next step in the project?

WOW.. another cl and local! i live in fort washington near VA.

my name on acura-cl.com is umcp.

the digimoto is ok. a lot of the sensors don't read with our cl. i wanted to try the autoenginuity OBD reader, but it was a little pricey. i'm currently re-doing my project so everything is out but we should have a local meet sometime soon.

cool cool, yeah my name on acl is juve021 also! Cool, I'd like to see your setup with the lilliput, seems like it would be nice to have a BIG screen in our cars cause the stock navi is small (6" I think?). yeah but a local meet would be cool, let me know if you hear of anything and of course, on your progress with the build.

One question about the digimoto. Do you think it would be possible to calculate MPG with the sensor readings from it? Thats really what I want to implement but I have a bad feeling that its not possible.

i think there's going to be a meet around the end of april for our area.
if you look around in the mp3car gatherings section you'll see the thread.

as for the digimoto it doesn't do it with the digimoto software. but if you find some software that you want me to test i'll gladly help.

I like the case!! I'm also a fellow Marylander (is that even a word?) I live in the Greenbelt/Bowie area. I will check about that gathering. It would be awesome to meet some local CarPC enthusiasts!!
