My bezel is going in for paint this week (body shop buddy is going to paint match it to the stock bezel) so the carputer should be back in the car next weekend hopefully. Now I'm working on my custom fibreglass sub box and amp rack for the trunk. I'll post it all up once everything is 100% done
once again, awesome job.
Thanks man......believe me, my hand was VERY shaky and it took me a while thinking about it, but the way I wanted to mount the screen, the bracket was in the way and would not let me put the bezel back on....hope yours turns out great!!

Yeh, that's wild. =) I would't have had the guts to do that either.
The "worst" I did, was drill a hole in one of the plastic colums to accomodate the back end of a switch bwtween the rear defroster and traction control switches. I fit an amp for the tweeters in the space underneath that metal headunit brace, but am afraid if I have to bend it up one or two more times to access the wires, the back end of the brace will snap off.

Thanks guys! Believe me, it wasn't easy to take the dremel to the car, I think most of it was rage. I had been working on the install all weekend and that was the last thing to install. When I tried to put the bezel on and it didn't go all the way in....oh I was ****ED !! So after thinking about it for a while the little devil on my shoulder kicked the angel's *** and put the dremel in my hand....the rest is history
That damn devil.......I love him so much !!!!!

Nice install. The screen fit perfectly! Any problems with getting enough juice from the alternator?

I haven't had any problems with juice. The voltage indicator on the power distro block and the capacitor (with the car running) are usually at 13+ volts so it doesn't seem like the alternator is having too much trouble keeping up with the drain. We'll see when I finally get around to getting some subs in there. With the car off I've had it running for about 3 hours max and the indicators have never been lower than 11 volts so it doesn't seem that I'm drawing that much power but to be honest I have not measured it.
