Saturn SL2 install v3 (tablet)

Finally got my new camera, here are some shots of the car and my new tablet install:

NEW PICS, SCROLL DOWN (:

Gotta clean up a few wires and I'll be set.
Having a touchscreen is awesome

PS: sorry, my image host resized some of the pics.

It's a little too bulky for my liking, but the idea is great, you can remove your whole system easily and take it with you wherever you go.

I like your car! I had to borrow my grandmothers 02 while my Taurus was in the body shop and I enjoyed it. Hers is a base model, with crank windows and manual locks. She had the windows tinted when she lived down in Florida, and I just recently installed an Alpine cd player in it.

Cool
Yeah, it's bulky. But pretty convenient at the same time.
I can take it off and walk out with it, or use it on my lap when wardriving to surf the web. It actually fits very well, mainly because it has round shapes that match my interior. I need a way to hide the wires, then it will almost look stock. At night this thing is awesome with a red skin and all my interior lights being red, it looks stock.

I'm loving the USB and the touchscreen. My previous setups had neither.
I can hook up my digital camera to it and watch pics on a big screen. Sweet

Looks good. I myself have a Saturn as well.

How did you mount the tablet onto the console?

With this stuff

Behind the screen is a huge empty spot where I can hide things, like a CO2 gun, etc. I don't have a HU, so the computer is hooked up directly to the amplifier (except for base which gets filtered through pre-amp). I'll snap some more pics soon.

Hey, good news.
I finally re-did the trunk, looks very good now.
I also rotated the tablet 90 degrees, finally found the right drivers. It looks so much better now and the daylight glare is not there anymore. I also cleaned up the wires.
But anyway, new pics coming soon!

Cool, your sub enclosures look like birdhouses.

I've followed your install(s) in the Saturn for a long time, and it was a bit of an inspiration for me when I was doing my install in the Cavalier (yeah, so it ended up being a bit of a ghetto install ). Good work.

Hahahaha
Yeah, I can't get rid of the ghetto factor quite yet, but when you see the new pics you'll agree that it looks a whole lot better

Some new shots!

First of all, I rotated the Tablet and cleaned up the wiring

Had to relocate the GPS because the old mount broke:

Cleaned up the trunk too!

Freestylin' on a parking lot

And here's my buddy, he's got my old system:
