1999 c5 corvette conv.

Hey guys,

been on here for a while and this forum is great. I finally have my install at a point where i'm proud to show it.

here is the set up:

via epia m10000
xenarc 7" tsv
m1-atx
512 mb ram
80 gb hd
soundblaster live 5.1
audio control 24xs line driver/crossover
xtant 603x amp
cdt 6.5" components
12" image dynamics sub
navman gps

Here is the car:

stock dash:

The components:

ok and here is the install:

first the brains and the braun: to the right is the xtant amp and sitting next to that in another xtant amp case is the pc:

night time pic:

here is the sub and the blue thing above it is an exhaust fan in case the amp or pc get too hot:

here is a bad picture of the audiocontrol line driver, i think i will box this in to look like it's flush but i'm not completely sure yet:

now to the interior:

I hacked up a detatchable face from a pioneer dvd flip out unit then used an ipac2 keyboard emulator to map the functions to the appropriate centrafuse fuctions.

hope you enjoyed it.

Very clean. I almost did the same thing with the amp housings.

I LOVE how you hacked up the headunit and control Centrafuse with it. Hmm...

Do you ever wish you went with a VGA touchscreen? or are you happy with the composite alpine unit?

EDIT: oh I see, the screen is a Xenarc, and you just use the H/U face. Nice.
