It looks great man, but I think the dual screen would bug me out! LOL
The last thing I need is to get confused while I'm driving... It's already hard keeping up with one monitor upfront!
Major props to you bro'!!

do you use the TS on the top screen?

I am thinking of something similar but i wont be able to reach the GPS screen so will have no TS on it and have all the GPS controls on the lower screen

I do use the TS on the top screen. Most of the time there is not need to be touching it, but when I do I'm usually not driving. It is a very far reach, making it hard to use in normal use. But when I do need it, it comes in real handy to have the top TS working.

Here are a few other pictures of the car. When the install is totally debugged, and the screen replace the wiring will be made to be a bit neater. But either way you can't see it when the seat is pushed in a "useable" position.

In the second pic, the four switches are (from left to right) Fog Lights, Wiper blade de-icers, Power switch for the top Navi screen, Power Switch for the PC.
The PC Power switch is spliced in parallel with the header that goes to the OPUS.

Sub Box (yes, i know its way too big )

Pictures updated for the new screen I installed today. They are also changed in the origional post. Also totally re-wired the system to be much cleaner. I will take a few more pictures in the next day or so.

You can read my full review of the screen HERE

Brightness was down at about 15 for night driving, which is why it looks so dim.
Both Screens Open

Wow! Dual screens is awesome!
Looks really nice and slick. That has got to be a ~$2000 setup. Looks really really good.

P.S. You have a lot of fingerprints on your screens

Yeah Yeah, I gotta take better pics. I will challenge Xzibit any day!

It's taken a lot of work, and the first incarnation of my carputer in the old car looked......well.......we'll just ignore that.

I'm using the Travla C158-120W This one comes with the low profile heatsink/fan combo you need for the P4 to work in it. I'm not using the 120w DC-DC that it came with. If you're not using a P4 you can get the 60W or 90W versions. And I think they're cheaper.

I am real proud of it. Not pictured is the Griffin Powermate that I added in. That thing makes controlling the system so much easier. Plus I can have control with the screen closed.

But to answer your question, yes I do run the A/C with it open. The only time I really have a problem is at night, because it's so %$*#ing humid down here in Florida that a lot of condensation gets on the unit. So I have to be careful of that.
