Nissan Armada carmadaputer complete

Thanks to this site for all the newbie help. It's a pretty simple install as I already had the factory navigation.

After overcoming my pc deficiencies, or at least learning just the minimum, a brake control unit failure in the middle of the install which had me thinking I some how caused...but the dealer says it was just a coincidence (thank God I didn't have to hear the wife say "I told you you'd screw something up!), and some grounding problems I now am fully media capable.

I added a couple of fans to the rear compartment and it seems to be cirulating the air good enough that it is not overheating...yet, I think I'll add a couple more though as I can't hear them running so a couple more won't hurt.

I hooked the AV up to my avelectronic box, with the audio out hooked to the AUX behind the dash through a P.I.E. amp.

and I still have one input left for a video game....shhhh I told the wife I was done.

sorry I couln't get the photo's to display using a link. These are the same photo's attached below

That's a very clean install you've done there. Good job!

Wow very nice, is that the stock monitor from the nav or did you just put one in its place? Also thats a nice vehicle, my boss has that one with nav and all the options. I told him he should put a car computer in, hes thinking about it. Hes capable too since hes the head IT guy, lol.

Thanks guys, its the factory nav system. The factory monitor is a pretty good quality RGB screen. There has been a few other owners though get the factory benzel and add a monitor.

As Shelbrain said it's Frodo with the brightlife skin. I added some to the skin background so it looks a little different than the original.

I picked up a set of cable ties from Compusa for holding it to the floor. They are basically narrow stirps of innertube with a peg on each end.

Thanks for the link.. I'll look into that... I need to find a better way to secure my case other than velcro pieces at the bottom! LOL
