if this ain't the oldest carputer I would like to know what is.... I've seen references to some guy who did a carputer in 1998 & he was refured to as "the grandfather of car pc's".... this is my second one done in 1995.... I don't have anything from the first one that was in 94'

this one is a pentium 100.... I bought it brand new & butchered it.... those who know me know that I just do that sort of stuff

the more I think about this, this actually could have been one of the first carputers..... does anyone know of an install from this long ago? I'm guessing there weren't too many back then....

I just saw bugbyte's old car from the 80's too... it had a atari 800 & was hooked up to the speedo to average trip data & a bunch of other stuff.....

that hearse was awsome & an insperation at the time, as well as a lot of other sick customs. I've loved custom cars since I was a kid.... I loved to see customs & customized everything I could... started with bikes, grew to minibikes then cars & bikes....
I was always facinated with guys like ed roth, george barris... there were many cool old customs that were built just like you or I could build...... now adays with guys like jessie james, boyd coddington etc.. the game has changed.... youv'e got mega budget, cnc machines & big money to play in the big leagues
