oh well., I got the "new" turbo motor in the car & running....good to hear her alive again, but SETBACK!!! the turbo is blown, or at least the oil seal is.... she's dumping oil through the downpipe & smoking up a storm..... gotta find a turbo before I can go any further with this, just stuck it back in the garage for now..... hope she don't wind up hibernating another 10 years..... na, I'll get her going for the spring I think

nope, not for sale
no real updates.... she's sitting in a garage with a fresh grand national mild drivetrain, needs a turbo..... needs the interior finished & a whole new pc system..... needs some really expensive custom rims.... probably 18's & 20's....
I might get her running & take her to the track this season & give her a little excercise, but this is still even a big maybe... gotta start hitting ebay looking for turbo's...
I have too many projects going on to start working on her again..... someday she'll be back with a vengence..... someday..... I got patience....

thats one cool Cad.. those GNX motors go like hell.. I've built some good SBC motors and did a little street racing when I was younger.. now i've got a 65 Nova Wagon.. think I might pickup a twin turbo 350 making around 800hp from a friend.. never dealt with turbo stuff yet.. but the feel... oh man when it spools up its great.. get wrenchin on that thing its great!!

Ironically enough I am doing my carputer install for tuning and not as a means of entertainment. I'll be using the megasquirt 2.0 for fuel and ignition tuning via the PC.
When you bring this car back are you going to up the turbo size (looks like a T25 equivilent to me) and put a bigger (shinier?) FMIC as well (im again guess that FMIC is 24" x 12" )
I like those cars, well I like all fast cars, and its great to see where in car computing got its roots.
Please be sure to keep us updated
