May just be me but I dont see 40,000+ worth of stuff in that dash :-/ or the car for that matter. What other goodies are hiding that arent in the pictures?

The paint is probably worth more than the car

finish the interior man. Seats dont look done, steering wheel hasnt been touched. Shifter looks out of place. laying some fiberglass isnt doing up an interior. But it looks pretty ok so far.

Where was the $40K spent? Adding up just want he's described I could maybe get $10K, even with some crazy expensive audio components (then why a cheapo screen?) I don't see more than $20K.

Interior looks like it is out of Space 2001. YOu should get the 'Hal' widget http://www.widgetgallery.com/view.php?widget=36435 running on your PC

I think the problem is that all the money was spent on paint, and none on a nice set of photographs that actually capture and do justice to the paintwork.

I don't think that the money spent is important to viewers. You should leave that out next time you start a thread so people will look at your work with a different perspective. I don't see the 40K either but I do know that some paint and interior jobs can be expensive.
