Same here. I hate cutting things willy nilly. For that reason, I'm currently looking for a spare shifter bezel to modify so I can keep the original intact. I'm interested to see how your plan works out. My setup is definetly a tight fit and not ideal because of how the bottom switches are visually covered partially. If Ford would have just used a double din opening instead...

Your car is amazing, I was looking up prices becuase I was interested in doing a similair install, how much did all of this run you if you don't mind me asking. Thanks
