If you were able to start over again, would you do anything different?

I really like your setup, but would like to have a DVD drive in the dash as well. But can't seem to figure out how I would get it to work. I have an automatic, when in Park, I cant access anything lower than the Defog, Trac, and Fog buttons.

Absolutely gorgeous.

Gorgeous car and subliminal work standard.

I am humbled.

Would you be interested in making another bezel and selling it?

Nomad: thanks bud!

Kiriller: thanks! i was going for that red/black look with the rims/exhaust tips.. glad it worked

rebelleader: honestly, the only thing i would do different is I would have worked more consistently on the bezel to get it done quicker lol :P Other then that, I dont think I'd do anything different. I wanted to put the dvd in dash as well, but I couldn't do it without modifying the dash permanently (removing the rail for the stock cd player) and it would have messed up my plan for in-dash comp as it wouldn't be as secure as it is now. That, and I dont think it would look that stock and might kinda say 'steal me' all over it

pandy: thanks!

ibanez737: possibly, send me a pm with what you're looking to spend. it was a lot of work, so i dunno.

Gotta love the Mach 1's! Man, looking back, I probably would have gone the Lilliput/Xenarc route as it would've been much easier to fit to the dash...

Lookin' good, man! What color/brand paint is that you used on the bezel?

ibanez, I'm still using the factory amps that run the low and mid range speakers (from the factory, the stock deck runs the highs). All I needed was a wiring harness as it comes with RCA inputs. No problems at all, sounds great. They used to come with a 3rd amp located under the factory deck that ran the highs, but I think they stopped that in '01 or '02. For someone with one of those, all they need is one wiring harness and its all done for you.

Thanks Pyros! Yeah those are probably my favorite body style of all the fox bodies. They really just grew on me -- they have such clean lines! That's a great idea -- a winter beater turned project when summer comes back around. I had a Navy Blue 4 cyl LX hatch that I bought a few years ago for that sort of project but ran out of time and had to sell it. Sold it to a friend who ended up destroying it. The car was from Virginia and had NO rust on it. None -- not on the door, hatch or anywhere. It had a mint interior which I painted black. Coupes are the way to go! You have some good modular performance places up your way -- Sean Hyland Motorsports and Paul's High Performance. Anyway, I love the car! If you don't mind me asking, what paint was that you used on the bezel?

Pyros, I'm curious if you got my PM. I'm keeping an eye out on some bezels on ebay. I'm not really sure what work like this costs, but you look like you know what you're doing so I'd be willing to pay well for your quality work if you're interested. 5 days left on these 3 bezels so no hurry

jzgt: sucks about the 4cyl! The only ones I've seen around here so far are rusted to ****. I'd ideally like to drop in a 351w once I'm done with it as a beater, but lets see if i can even find one first! It wasn't really a paint used on the bezel, it was a specific type of dye used for interior paneling. I'm not too sure, as I gave it to a buddy to do professionally.

ibanez: sorry man, didn't see it! replying now..
