Cris, your carputer installation looks amazing.

I just focused on the visual image of my Escort. As soon as I will place pictures of my modifications I will give you PM.

You can also find me at www.fordescort.org. This is Polish Ford Escort FanKlub website. I’ll put some pictures there.

I’m in the middle of collecting money for LCD touch screen (Lilliput) and motherboard (Via Epia M10000) as those are the most expensive things I need. This will take me a quite long time as my salary is about €330.


PS. I think that your radio should be in black.

Hey DarasBB, I'm glad you like it. How are you gonna mount yours?

Yeah, you're right about the radio, but I've had it before I had the pc in, and it's a really good headunit, and I didn't want to give it up...

Are those chrome rings around the spedo and RPM by any chase?



Nice plans. On your frst version, the screen doesn't quite fit in there, but it can be done. You'll lose the HU this way.

For the second version, the screen I had fit perfectly in there. Here's a pic:

That's what I did.
Here's a pic of the keyboard mounted in the glove box. It fits perfectly in there...(yes, I do need to clean that up )



Hey Andy, look at the head unit, you can see better in this pic that the faceplate is tilted.

Those are polished, aluminium rings.

Where did you get those aluminium rings? They look fabulous! I want them.



The screen is a Linitx/Tview/MM400 (it has many names... ) It is a touch screen. It costs around 250E I think...could be less.

I ordered them in one of the tuning firm here in Poland. It costs 50 PLN (about 12,50 EUR + postal costs)

I love that TFT LCD as it fits perfectly.
