any updates??

I have been lurking lately, pretty much since the summer... didn't ever see your log... cool install though...

my wagon stats are... Helix catted DP, STI UP, STI catback, Cobb AP, ebay TMIC, Samco hoses... I wish I could do 0-60 in 4.5, but up here in mile high we got 91 octane and less air... we're about 15 to 20% down on power from you guys!! but I can still eat am M3... and that's what really matters, right??

I flushed my screen

TOO many hours to get that just right.. but it does look stock... I recently added a backup cam (other specs are in the sig)...

anyway, my next build is a fiberglass enclosure for a sub under the passenger seat... waiting on a weekend that is A) warm enough and B) snow isn't calling me to the mountains...

so thanks for the pics, they brings back painful memories... keep it updated!!

Yeah, unfortunately for you guys im still here

=p

I still lurk around, i just dont post much anymore, i havent really modded it anymore besides replacing the hard drive (i got hit in december, the HDD died in it) and then i added a radioshark

i like the flush look you did with yer car btw, its hardcore oem looking, i wish i could do something like that but i am extremely busy with work and stuff (coming from a second semester senior with no job... thats suprising)

The only other thing i have done with the computer is just update software, replace one side of the pexiglass case (my "friend" broke it) and uh... meh

right now i am saving money to make my car somewhat drivable again, i have it agian but two of the wheels are slightly bent and the shop that repaired it put the 2 WrONG ******* TIRES on my car... so the front left and rear right wheels are different. its lame

but yeah, i check this place every day, i just dont post too much =p (maybe like 5 times in the past 4 months), i usually just answer PMs i get from people on how to install the PCs, but now i see you guys care so much, ill actually voice my opinion on the forums more =p

Good new though, now that it has been in an accident, its not worth nearly as much... so expect much more modding.

Short verison: I'm still here, my car got a little hurt, all better now besides two tires, and im ******* busy with school/track/friends/getting money somehow to add to meh car.

P.s. those *****es at the repair shop didnt replace the DCCD control area covers (those little plastic things) so i have a hole in my console >.>... oh, and they cut the power line to my computer in the repairs, and almost made my car catch on fire when i drove home.

I know how that feels. Being a uni student, money is scarse, so I opted for the el cheapo tires to replace my front left and rear left. I am supposed to get 15in "sport" tires and they are upwards of $180 each! So I bargained with the discount tire guy to sell me 2 refurb tires for $40... Not each, total. I all I had to do was teach him how to pair his new BT handset with his new phone! Piece of cake.

7 months later, and i finally added a sub to the setup.

it only look abut 15 minutes to install too, cuz i prewired it for a sub when i did the rest of the install to make it easy for me.

the sub i bought was an 8 inch sub with some random sirius radio branding on it. i got it from woot.com during the wootoff for 35 bucks, sweet deal for it too, it sounds amazing too... it retails for 230 so i got a pretty good deal

I am going to work on a mold this weekend. Going to make a fiber enclosure for under the passenger seat... there is about 0.3 to 0.4 cu ft of useable space under there. I have a Elemental Designs SQ10 shallow mount 10". From my prelim setup, you can expect about 110 to 115db out of this setup with 200watts. I am building the box from a negative, so I will be able to reproduce this setup. I am hoping to make a run of a dozen to start, I will have to see how much time is involved to get an idea on what I'll sell them for - my initial guess will be $350 with the speaker, might go as low as $275, but this is all tentative at this point. I will list them on NASIOC whenever I do.

OKAYYYYY Time for more work on teh car, i figured i'd keep my good friends on here included in it.

its not a computer project, hell... theres not even that electrical...

i am replacing the clutch on it... whooo me!

Heres the mini-worklog on teh car's progress:

today the transmission work begins
Project: new clutch/flywheel being put in
Currently working on draining the fluids as well as just taking the air intake silencer out.

Finished on 4/24/2007: intercooler removed, clutch release removed, transmission upper support removed, exaust bolts sprayed with WD40 to get corrusion off, removing it tomorrow.

meh, im making a mini worklog for school as well, gives me a little extra credit so yeah, i might just do what i write in there... so it might be a little more formal ^^
