Bezel Edit
I have the same monitor setup in my '03 WRX. My whole system is complete except for the bezel. I'm afraid of screwing it up when i have to trim the top and bottom. How much did you have to do to the bezel to get it to fit over the monitor?

Don't trim too much, trim about half a rib. The reason for that is because the LCD itself won't come out toward the front all the way. It'll come out just a little bit. So it'll still look a little bit deep inside buried but not as bad as it would if you didn't trim it.

no vlad its not a photoshop... its an actual on off button... ts on an 05 rex install as well.. ill find the link
as for the bezel, definitely trim it a little at a time... i tried it like 50 times before i got to where i wanted mine
by the way, what size are those rims... how much did they cost, and where did you get them?
also, same thing for the sideskirts

Hey Redian,
Sorry somehow I missed your other questions, never get a notification.
I bought sideskirts from NASIOC classifieds for $25 they come from '03 WRX. I love the look.
As for the rims, I bought 5x100 STI BBs wheels from craiglist long time ago. And when I rent to Rally School few feeks ago I swapped them with powdercoated black same rims.
If you consider buying those STi wheels, double check bolt pattern, I think only from '04 STi will fit your car. All newer models come with different bolt pattern.

Just wanted to say I appreciated the pics. I am trying to get my '03 WRX outfitted. It is a wagon though which is unfortunate in some ways because I cannot hide stuff in the trunk.
I was wondering about the wiring, so you ran a positive from battery through the inside of the fender into the interior? I thought the pass thru would be around the steering column area or something. The reason I ask is that I am getting relatively near to actually getting mine done. (I used a HU in the turbo pod and have a slim GPS sitting on top under the plastic so you cannot see it).
I used this case it is a super good deal IMO at $20.00 b/c it is already nice and slim and fits right under the seat. I cut the front 3 inches off and drilled holes to mount a 2.5" HDD on the side along with M2ATX PS. It takes a slim DVD drive as well so it is pretty much all ready except for the whole wiring into the car and getting a screen.

ill take more pictures now of how i ddi it.. as best as i can
although i would love to get that case, my mobo is too big for it (as are my pci cards)
and thus, out of the question...
and look next to the relay box, you should see a green plastic ring and a tunnel... the tunnel goes from there down to in front of the driver door under the dash. you will see it covered wth a rubber cover and a few wires coming out of that, run your wire through that (so you can get through the rubber)
this is what i told f1vlad...
wiring is quite the *****. i would suggest using a wire clothes hanger that is streched out to go through the rubber seal in the firewall hole then push it down the tunnel where the wires are (the seal is the end of the tunnel) the tunnel comes out next to the relay box, (kind of a ***** to get to) take the relay box off (dont disconnect the wires, just move it to the side so you have more space) then get needlenose pylers (or your hand if its small enough like mine) and pull the clotheshanger out of the end of the tunnel. then take ducktape and tape the wire you want to use to the end of the clothesanger wire, and pull it through the tunnel, when you get to the rubber seal, push a little slack into the tunnel from the engine bay side then pull the wire through the rubber hole that the wire made, and tada, you have your wiring.
Next... where you should put the fuse of the wire.
you MUST have a fuse within 12 inches of the end of the wire from the battery. i put mine on the battery side of the relay box (i have pictures if you want to see them), use heavy duty velcro, it works well, no rattling, and it can be replaced easily.
oh and one more thing, if you break the fuse when connecting a switch to the ignition wire from the radio (i did, miswired) the radio is NOT in the relay box, instead it is under the wheel. theres a coin box next to the open hood lever, open that and you will see a hole on the right side of the lip that holds the box just tilt the box and slip the little cylinder that jets out of the box and it will come out. then behind there is the interior fusebox.
in the '04 subarus, fuse #9 is the radio fuse, and usually is about 15 amp, since i wont be using the radio, but have the igition wire still going, i replaced it with a 10 amp fuse.
also, BE SURE TO TAPE THE ENDS OF THE OTHER WIRES COMPLETELY (or pin... if you dont get a wiring harness) if you dont, you run the risk of your car catching on fire (if the fuse doesnt break)
 hope it helps
