1994 Camaro 3.4L "Red Alert" CarPC v2

In my previous attempt at a carPC, I was laiden with after thoughts and things that I wanted to fix. In the process of painting my interior (smoothing out the interior panels, painting, clear coating, making it more show car ready) I redid my carPC bezel and this is the results:

Due to the angle of the pics, the bottom side shows, but in reality and in normal every-day viewing, you don't see under the bezel at all. I tried to encorporate cues from the center console when working the bottom of the bezel. There's a "ridge" on the left side that flows with the "ridge" on the center console from the shift plate to the cubby hole. Next to the ridge are two USB slots, and then the bezel flows up to flush with rest of the bezel and wraps around in about the same way the center console's right side wraps around. Hard to get the full effect from the pics as I don't have any closeups of it all installed.

And now, the rest of the car:

looks awesome!! Care to share the secrets of getting your interior body panels that smooth and type of paint, scratch resistance etc.

All my goodies are up in the bezel. It's actually a stock radio bezel at heart, only modifications to it (aside from building up bondo-glass ontop of it) was cutting a rectangular notch in the front of the bezel to allow the 7" touchscreen to be flush with the bezel. The motherboard (Via Epia ME-6000) is tucked up under the bezel, which is what you can see in some of the pics when the angle is low enough. On the inside of the radio bezel where the headunit should've gone is the standard 3.5" harddrive and my Opus 150w power supply. I couldn't have asked for a better fit for all the hardware, the motherboard fits perfectly.

For the actual panels, in all honesty all I did was sand them down with 100 grit sandpaper to get them as smooth as I could, then used a LOT of Duplicolor High Build Primer to raise the last of the "wrinkle effect" to be smooth. After a lot of primer, sand, primer, sand steps then I used Duplicolor Exterior Paint to get my base coats, and then Duplicolor Top Coat Clear Coat to get the shine. So far so good, although it's only been a couple months.

Thanks for the comments guys, I definitely appreciate it!

Thanks for the compliment, I appreciate it! I've still been doing a lot of work on this project... since I last posted the project's show off thread I've gone through two Opus and have come to the conclussion that for being the Escalade of power supplies, they sure do suck. Nothing but problems with mine. I bought an M2 150watt instead, hopefully will have better results. Otherwise its been up and running smoothly ever since.
