Well, the install is pretty much done. I still have some tweaking to do here and there.
The Jeep
I went with a motorized single din monitor. I didnt want to cut into the dash.
My MB is an older one I pulled out of a old PC I dont use anymore. I plan on buying a new one after the summer.
My after market adaptor has a little pocket under the Unit housing. That will be for my cd/dvd slot drive.
Now my fist PC case was going to be made out of fiberglass.
I cut the mounting plate out of the older case, the one I pulled the MB out of. Just showing the brackets.
Ignore the ugly pc case its in.
Ok, moving on to running the wires.
here is my power HUB.
Ok, you cant see it but my GPS mouse is sitting up and behind where my dash gadges sit.
Ok, like I said. I didnt like the fiberglass case. I was trying to figure out how to make a PC case and a speaker box for 1 12 inch sub without taking so much room in the cargo area. This is what I came up with.
and with the seats back.
Ok, lets turn it on. I decided to use RR with Chucks skin (SE).
My GPS right now is Microsoft S & T (father-inlaws, free until I find one I like better)
When I use Mplayer in RR the movie is laggy. However when I play it in WMP or WinDvd 6 it plays just fine. I would like to get WinDVD to embed into RR. Any help on that would be great. Other than that one issue its pretty much done.
I would like to thank all the people out there who have help noobs like myself in getting started.
