Where did you get that front bumper, I really like it! Mine got a little messed up this weekend, the fuel pump went out again and left me stranded 200 miles from home so I had to use a car dolly to get it home. Because I dont have airbags on it yet i couldnt raise the front up any to put it on the dolly and the bumper got a little trashed.... I want to put a turbo on it next summer and need a place to put an intercooler on it, the bumper you use would allow for that where mine wont. Thanks for any info and nice ride!

Nice lookin' setup!
About the PC placement... How are you pulling the hot air out of the console??
I worry about my 270 (p4, 3.0), when it's sitting in nearly open air, on a filing cabinet...

the Alt is actually 110A.. i happened to replace mine a few months back and thats what it said.. it is a 4.3, right?
I was contemplating putting one in my daily driver S10, which already has a system, just not a computer.. how convenient would you say it is?

Yea it's a 4.3L
I have my truck as a daily driver. I really don't see any problems with it. I just have to rewire my setup to stay on while i turn "off" or "on" the truck to get gas.
But what can you expect for "phase one" of my setup.

it's a "xenon" front bumper. Comes with the wire mesh.

Right now there are no modifications for pulling out the hot air from the center console. I ran a hose from the feet AC vents to the center console.
My system has been running great with no heat problems. You can always wire in some fans and cut the sides of the center console to have one blow air "in" and one "out".

i've since forgot what you were using for a psu, but if it has a startup/shutdown controller, if you kill the engine and kick the car back into on without the motor running, if you do it quick enough, the PC will stay on. the last PC install i worked on had an opus 120W and that tends to work. Otherwise you could wire in a switch with 12V going to the acc lead on the PSU, and with 2 diodes, you could keep the switched live from backfeeding the car's acc line, yet when you turn the car off, the psu sees the acc as being live because the switched line is on.. food for thought anyway. if you have any trouble understanding what im saying, it's a lot easier to see it as a picture, let me know.
