Here is my shop when it's dirty. Time to clean up a bit I guess. Also a pick of the box in it's ugly freshly resined state. Also a pick of the Hoe.

Built a touchpad into the armrest to reduce wear and tear on the touchscreen. All four sides are programmable "scroll" capable. Also top right is also a "button". That makes 11 functions it control if you include to two normal buttons. Works pretty darn well. Also can do gesturing in Streetdeck.

tell me about it....i gave up though with the sanding after i ruined pretty much the whole face of my radio. I simply bought brushed-aluminum moldings - whew!!! thank god for moldings...
you did a great job man...
check out my project....although not as thorough in the documentation as yours, i took some good pics....

I have been driving the Tahoe while doing the install. I have been doing it in stages. I built up all the parts I need till I had to rip it apart for the Raamat. I did all the deadening in a weekend. It's all about logistics. I also already had a lot of things built ready to install when the other parts came together. I am getting "close" to finishing it, but are you ever really done?
afterdigital- looking good. Now you just need to get rid of all that Bose stuff. Yuck

I saw your RC helicopter (Looked like a 30 size high end Shuttle) and RC Airplane (Cap?), man you got some nice hobby. I used to burn all my money on ERGOs and XCELLs. Got rid of everything except a nice simple ERGO 46 CCPM. Fly once a year.
And Je**s ho** freaki** mot** of GOD!!!!!! I've never seen an installation like yours. Is this a showcar???

Sceadu 50. Yeah R/C is my other money sucker hobby. I am mostly into big gas planes. Helicopters and small electrics for fun. This install has sucked most of my time away from R/C.
Not really a show car. I think I am going to try and compete this year. It's my daily driver. Just wanted some nice tunes

You Call THIS "Just Some Nice Tunes" ??????
Man I am speechless.
I'd like to see what you've done to your Sceadu. I learned RC Heli on old Shuttle ZX in 1992. The MOST fun I've had in my life when I finally pushed that tail around and go nose-in hover for the first time!!!

Yeah Shuttle ZXX here. It's the Evo version so nothing need to be changes. I have an aluminum washout because the stock striped out, but that's it.
The problem with stereo installs is you always have to make it better than the last one. It's a disease I think.
I also have '79 Trans Am I am going to be working on next. Going to try and keep it "simple". No computer. Okay maybe no computer. Definitly a bad *** loud (so I can hear it over the 455 big block) system though.

PHEW! Finally got the Ol' ghetto sub box painted. To bad my home made paint booth sucked. I made a filtered fan and the filter material blew into the "booth" and messed it up. Looks like I will have to do it again in a real paint booth. Other than the littel fuzzys it looks pretty good IMHO.
