Thanks. It has been a lot of work, with more work to do. I look forward to getting it "finished" so I can take a break.

Man this looks great. Do you do this for a living or just a hobby?
Can you give me some more details on the speaker box? What type of material did you stretch across the box? How did you apply the fiberglass? How many layers?
Anything you can tell me would be appreciated. Thanks for contributing.

It's just a hobby. A money and time sucking hobby.
As for the box, I used fleece from Walmart. I normally like to use unbacked auto carpet but because of I need some stretch to get into the pockets I used the fleece.
After the resin was put on I used Long&Strong in all the corners and places I couldn't lay mat. I then put on about 5-6 layers of mat on the inside. I used Rage Gold on the outside to fill everything in. Then came Featherfil. If I use to do it again I would shoot the entire thing with SlickSand instead and then Rage the low spots. I think it would save a lot of time.

Can you explain what you do to the fleece around the ring from this point to get it to look like this?
I'm specifically refering to the inner part of the ring and what you do to it to keep it sealed with the rest of the enclosure.

I think I know what your getting at. Look at the fleeces picture with no resin. It just covers the entire ring. The ring is actually two rings. On for the speaker to mount to and the other to make it flush. Once it is resined I just take a laminate router with a flush cut bit and make the fleece even with the ring. Some people like to staple the fleece to the inside of the ring, but that just makes for a lot of work.

Yep. 12"s. Maybe I should get some chrome lettering to put next to them on the box. And spinner dust caps.
