Nicely done.
So when your monitor turns on it goes to the carputer but when the camera gets power it switchs right because of a setting the monitor has, correct?

Im trying to find a monitor that does the same.
Is that what mp3car states for that monitor "Auto power-on upon signal detection". Or is that something else?

Yes, You are correct. As far as I know only the Xenarc monitors have this feature, but I could be wrong.
Now Im waiting to get a Xenarc with the transflective tech.
Please hear me Monitor gods! I ned a sunlight readable display with all the Xenarc features and quality.

Yes, the frame is plastic. Not the highest quality, but for $100 I will take the risk. I dont live in a high crime area. Tha car is parked in a garage at night and I have a private parking spot at my office. It is stealth enough that you have to look for it to know its there, If some one wants it they are going to get it no matter what security measures I take.
When I was in college I had my car broken into and the crooks cut out the whole middle of the dash to get my stereo and EQ. Replacing the dash cost more then the radio.

What technique did you use to paint the bezel? Did you use primer prior to applying the spray paint, or did you find it works well enough to spray it without primer.

Also, what type of paint did you use (manufactuer)?

Thanks

Cause you know, there is no such thing as roadside assistance, or a can of fix-a-flat or any other solution besides giving up all hope.
